My first-ever career aspiration involved a friendly Tyrannosaurus Rex with an equestrian saddle and townspeople in need of a masked hero. Two decades ago, I gave up on it and decided to do something less dramatic instead. So I became a writer.
I am a marketer by profession. I have been working as one – in some capacity or the other – for over a decade. My areas of expertise include content writing, content strategy, product marketing, company branding, employee engagement, and community development.
I have been a part of two documentaries – White Van Stories and That Fired Soul – as a scriptwriter, a recording artist, and a digital marketer. They were showcased on Channel 4, BBC and CNN, they won a few awards at film festivals. A poem of mine was included in the Modern and Contemporary Poetry Volume 1 collection. In 2017, I co-hosted season one of a podcast called ‘Nothing in Particular‘, which was featured on iTunes. My mom seemed to like it too.
After trekking in the hills of south India for a few years, I became a birdwatcher. Birds have since played an influential role in my life.
